Virginia Citizens for Water Quality Sustainability in Uncertain Times

Saturday, October 22,, 2011, Randolph Macon College, Ashland, Virginia

VCWQThe Virginia Citizens for Water Quality Summit will be held on September 24th at Randolph Macon College in Ashland, VA. The theme this year is "Sustainability In Uncertain Times" and parts of our agenda reflects this. Presentation topics include stormwater monitoring, TMDL implementation, NGO sustainability strategies, and other topics of interest.

Registration fee of $20 includes lunch and traditional prize raffle. Registration will be done through a secure, online website.

In the past, many of the participants have brought items ranging from tee-shirts, hats, water bottles, educational posters, and other things to give away (including fresh garden grown crops and fruit – yummy!). We would like to continue with this tradition if possible, so ask everyone to bring something you might want to contribute to the raffle exchange. Typically everyone goes home with something, so it's a nice and fun activity to continue.

We hope to see you there! And please, share this information with others who are interested in water quality, volunteer monitoring, and citizen engagement activities.
